Extra-Curricular Activities

Our Extra-Curricular Activities

At Gawsworth Primary School, we are proud of our extra-curricular activites. We provide our children with a range of opportunities before and after school to enable them to develop their personal skills and team work. Our providers include a mix of school staff and specialists from outside agencies. For a school our size, we provide tremeondous opportunities for the children to develop their skills in an area of their choosing.

We are passionate that a strong and varied extra-curricular programme is an essential part of a thriving primary school and village community. We encourage all of our children to take part in our extra-curricular clubs and we constantly seek to expand our offer. In our sports clubs, the children have had immense success, representing the school at a local, regional and national level. We are proud that many of our children go on to further their interests in these areas through local clubs and at their secondary schools.
