Prospectus and Admissions
Children at Gawsworth start in Reception after attending many different nursery settings. Due to our locality between Macclesfield and Congleton and the sparse population within Gawsworth, most of our children live in Gawsworth, Macclesfield and Congleton, with some children attending from surrounding villages and further afield. To apply for a school place at Gawsworth, visit the Cheshire East Admissions website. Our Pupil Admission Number (PAN) is thirty, which means that we are able to take in thirty Reception children each September.

Occasionally, in-year school vacancies do occur in year groups other than Reception, particularly as families move for work or to take up positions abroad. We currently have a small number of vacancies across our year groups; if you would like to enquire about these vacancies, please contact the school office on 01625 426547.
Secondary School Admissions and Transition
Due to the wide geographical intake of children into Gawsworth, our children generally transition to five schools in Macclesfield and Congleton. We maintain excellent relationships with our secondary schools and we are a member of the Macclesfield Academy Learning Community and are associate members of the Fallibroome Learning Community. We work with our secondary partners to ensure a smooth transitions from primary to secondary school at the end of Year 6.
