At Gawsworth Primary School, we actively encourage our children to become independent, caring and empathetic. One of our aims for the children in this regard is to become responsible members of the community who actively make a positive difference. Our responsible, independent and caring children will grow into adults who contribute to society and make a positive difference to the lives of others.
In school, one way in which we encourage children to make a difference is by taking on roles and responsibilities on our different councils and roles. Each year, we elect children to our School Council, our Eco-Council, our Arts Council, Year 6 and the staff elect a Head Boy and Head Girl for each term and we also have other responsibilities such as Fallibroome Trust Councillors, House Captains, Sports Ambassadors, Anti-Bullying Ambassadors and Phys Kids instructors.
